We follow the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Delivery, and Payment of MITEX (Dutch Association of Retail Traders in the Fashion Industry). These conditions were drafted in consultation with the Dutch Consumer Association as part of the CZ (Coordinating Group for Self-Regulation) of the SER (Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands) and have been in effect since January 1, 2003. This page contains (additional) General Terms & Conditions of Claudet Jewelry, which shall prevail over the MITEX terms in case of any conflict.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following General Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), including any additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced herein and/or available via hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including but not limited to browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.
These Terms ensure clarity and transparency while protecting both Claudet and its customers. By shopping with us, you agree to these terms.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

ARTICLE 1 - SCOPE
These Terms govern all contracts, supplies, and other services agreed upon between the customer and us. By placing an order, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms. Unless we have explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, the customer's own terms and conditions shall not be accepted.
ARTICLE 2 - ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT
We shall confirm the customer's order via email. Contrary to Article 4.1 of the MITEX general terms and conditions, a contract is created only when payment has been successfully made. We reserve the right to refuse or impose special conditions upon an order, subject to providing a reason. If we are unable to verify the customer's permanent or temporary address, we may be unable to accept an order.
If an order process is disrupted for any reason before payment is completed, the order is considered incomplete, even if the customer has received an order confirmation. In such cases, the order will not be fulfilled, but we will make an effort to contact the customer to complete the payment process.
ARTICLE 3 - PRICES AND COSTS
The price of an order is determined at the time the order is placed. Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise. Prices listed in the online store do not include shipping or administrative fees, which will be added at checkout.
We are not bound by our offer in the event of printing, typographical, or programming errors on our website.
ARTICLE 4 - FULFILLMENT & SHIPPING
We will process orders with the highest level of care. Products will be delivered to the address provided by the customer. Orders will be shipped as quickly as possible, in the order they are received. Delivery times indicated on the website are estimates only. We are not liable for any delays.
ARTICLE 5 - CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the product can be lawfully imported to their country. Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees levied by the destination country. The customer, as the importer, is responsible for any additional charges. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Customers should contact their local customs office for further information before ordering.
ARTICLE 6 - RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Customers may exchange any item for store credit or a substitute product within 14 days of delivery. Refunds are not provided. Returned items must be in their original condition, including all packaging and tags. We reserve the right to refuse returned items if they appear used, damaged, or if the return instructions have not been followed.
If an order is not delivered within 30 days without prior communication from us, the customer is entitled to a full refund.
ARTICLE 7 - ERRORS IN DELIVERY
If we deliver an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, the customer must notify us within 24 hours of receiving it. We will replace the item or refund the purchase price.
ARTICLE 8 - PAYMENT METHODS
Payments can be made via PayPal or iDEAL. All payments must follow the instructions provided in our online store.
ARTICLE 9 - PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
We may collect personal information such as name, contact details, and order history.
We also collect non-personal information, such as IP addresses, browser types, and referring URLs, for analytics and service improvements.
